You can now use Mermaid diagrams in your markdown notes.

Mermaid lets you create flowcharts, timelines, relationship diagrams, charts and much more using simple text. Just add a mermaid code block to your note and it will be rendered automatically when you view it.

Note: This is an optional Goblin Lab feature currently so it may see changes. Enable it from the Goblin Lab section of the campaign settings.
